Loft Conversion on the outskirts of Andover, Hampshire, completed in 2007
We converted the loft to provide a large L-shaped bedroom with a step-down into an en-suite bathroom.
The chimney on the end wall, which was no longer used, was removed internally to allow construction of the staircase but retained externally to maintain the original character of the house; requiring the use of a metal framework and internal hip timbers.
